......and Smith must score.

Roy Keane : Richest man on the dole ?

Recommended Posts

When dear old Roy finally gets the '' heave-ho '' from Portman Road I doubt we''ll see him down the all-night soup kitchen any time soon.According to the property supplement in one of today''s Sunday papers he''s put his house near Hale in Lancashire on the market for a piffling £9.5 million. The article says that the seven bedroom pile is a mere 9,500 sq.ft in size with swimming pool, tennis court and a six oven Aga ( perhaps his five kids had one each with him and his missus having to share ).Roy of course no longer lives there. Apparently the Keanes are currently slumming it in a '' much smaller '' country house in Woodbridge in Suffolk but it does come equipped with a home-from-home tennis court and swimming pool. The pool is, sadly, empty. He probably won''t need a fans whip round to see him through to his next job.....
Wow a former Man.U player during their most successful period (?) Has lots of money.....
Funny also how somebody such as Tony Blair who was on a Prime Minister''s salary of just over 100K is now worth far more than Keane ever will be (30 million quid reportedly in dubious offshore accounts). No wonder his expense claims were accidentally shredded .... LOL
