I am a Banana

Our midfield

Recommended Posts

Over the past few weeks we have been playing a more 4-4-2 standard style rather than the diamond, and the midfielders seem to all change positions, crofts on the right, lansbury on the left and hooly and fox all over the place too.

Is this beneficial to the team as we can play more fluid or is it bad as the players are more likely to be out of position?

We played the diamond against Derby and Portsmouth - Fox base, Crofts right, Hoolahan left and Lansbury at the tip. Not enough width yesterday especially as Pompey crammed the central areas - should have gone 4-4-2 after 60 mins or so.
