I am a Banana 0 Posted December 11, 2010 Over the past few weeks we have been playing a more 4-4-2 standard style rather than the diamond, and the midfielders seem to all change positions, crofts on the right, lansbury on the left and hooly and fox all over the place too.Is this beneficial to the team as we can play more fluid or is it bad as the players are more likely to be out of position? Morisons Prozac 0 Posted December 12, 2010 Umm well we have used 442 against Ipswich, Derby, Leeds and Portsmouth and we put out strong performances in all those games, especially Fox I would say.
Back after the break 0 Posted December 12, 2010 We played the diamond against Derby and Portsmouth - Fox base, Crofts right, Hoolahan left and Lansbury at the tip. Not enough width yesterday especially as Pompey crammed the central areas - should have gone 4-4-2 after 60 mins or so.
