Grant Holt to Arsenal

Recommended Posts

Arsenal''s board are getting embarrassed about the club''s lack of silverware over  the last 5 years. That combined with their poor record against both Chelsea and Manchester United during that same period has led them to persuade Arsene Wenger to add Norwich City''s bustling Grant Holt to their squad. He is expected to play a Drogba like role in irritating and stretching opposition defences. The Gunners will also adopt a more pragmatic strategy for the rest of this season in search of an elusive trophy. Their characteristic 35 passing movements will be mixed with longer passes up to Holt who is expected to create a higher percentage of clean-cut chances for Van Persie and company.''

''Insiders are speculating that another trophyless season will push the Arsenal board into moving Wenger upstairs to allow for a more pragmatic footballing strategy to be adopted going forward.''

''Arsenal''s first task however will be to persuade the Canaries to release their captain and talisman in January when they themselves are starting to fly again and under new hardnosed management. This may be a hard task when Paul Lambert''s men are beginning to harbour outside thoughts of promotion to the Premiership which they graced in its earlier, formative years.''

''Interesting days are ahead at the Emirates.''

Hmmm.

Don''t worry. It won''t happen.

And here''s wishing a Merry Christmas for you and yours.

As the last thread you started 2 days ago is drifting away into the abyss because nobody could be bothered with it i against my better judgement will respond to this drivel.I know many posters will be annoyed with me but if nobody responds i have looked at the bigger picture and could see that as it is only 3.30pm this side of the pond it could save us all being subjected to you starting umpteem threads within a few hours of each other which no doubt would be copy and paste masterpieces.
More chance of Wenger admitting after a defeat that Arsenal were beaten by the better team than that happening!
He''s lost it for a good while now.

Mourinho did for him psychologically.

Corporal Plod and the Lapdog that Pisses ....brothers in arms. Well, well.

Reminds me of that wicked reporter who wrote about ''......Anton and his equally dim brother Rio.......''

But it''s Christmas-time ......and I shall be charitable and leave the tale of ''The Booted Chairman and the Secondary Modern Gang'' until after the New Year festivities.

One love.
Judging by your ramblings this week Bly it appears you have bought a poor quality batch of ganja which must be disappointing for you as it''s probably locally grown. Take it back to the farm shop and swop it for a nice Christmas tree, it will remind you of home. Come to think of it, a nice roast parrot with sage and onion stuffing, some roast yams (don''t know what you can use instead of sprouts) and a few cans of red stripe and Bobs yer uncle.

Happy Christmas Bly. [;)][:D]
