Yella Foreva 0 Posted November 15, 2010 Does anyone know if Paul Lambert will be in the stands for the Ipswich game?Sorry if it has already been mentioned somewhere.I think this will be a massive loss as i think he is a big reason we get so many late goals as he is constantly driving the players on, his enthusiasm will be missed greatly in the derby!! morty 0 Posted November 15, 2010 I believe that the process is quite convoluted, involving appeals and hearings etc and will most likely take some weeks. So he should be there for Ipswich, lets hope Holt is too!
CJ 0 Posted November 15, 2010 I am afraid having read what he said after the game it is highly likely he will be there for a few games. I am afraid Lambert has turned a situation where even the stuffed shirts at the FA may have been sympathetic into one where they will throw the book at us.It is one thing saying the ref was poor etc ( which he was) it is another to start making personal comments regards kindergarden etc, even I find that not acceptable and if Lambert has any sense he will apologise over his "ageist" comments. Remember what happened to a certain Luton manager over comments regards a female officialIn my mind if a ref is good enough then fair enough whatever his age , unfortunately the FA have pushed to have a leading young light in each County and some have been pushed too fast.Lambert needs to learn not to lose it because I am afraid his comments may not only lose us our appeal but lose any sense of sympathy from future officials and yes they do read the media and Ferguson seems to be the only manager I know who gets away with such attacks
Matt Juler 208 Posted November 15, 2010 Just need to do the same as old Harry Redknapp and claim you''ll never talk to the press again!

Shaun Tilly Lace 0 Posted November 15, 2010 Lambo had every right to be furious at that appalling decision, I could have chucked something at the tv screen as I was so annoyed as well. Another match ruined by an awful referee. Why is that when ever f**king Sky televise our matches we seem to have the most inept officials in the country to control the game? I thought the young muppet (ref) actually looked a bit confused and frightened when caught by the tv cameras soon after his rash and stupid decision to send off Holt. It was as if he anticipated strong criticism from the assessors after the match. WA.NKER.
