Just been called up to the Wales side for the next two qualifiers, made up for the man, he really deserves it!! Just hopes he doesn''t pick up a knock whilst on duty, he is really important to us!

Mmmm, this is when the injuries start to flow!  And do we want him to lead the Welsh onto victory?  Even more interesting will he have the responsibility for man marking Rooney next year?   Nice eassy match for him based on current form.

For us fans its a double edged sword as you do worry about injuries, as well as being pleased for him

Why as soon as any of our players get a call up, everyone thinks they will get injured? How many players get injured on international duty?

if we''re talking players in general then the last England games there was Walcott and Defoe, or Van Persie seems to always get injured with Holland. Us not so often as we don''t have so many ints.

It may not be a common thing, but its still extra games where there is always a risk of being injured (as there is when playing for your club side)
