Sixth Place

It keeps getting mentioned that we are in seventh place at the moment and that we could move into the top six this weekend with a win. However, we are actually tied for sixth now with Leeds. They are only above us in the table alphabetically.

No, techincally that makes us joint 6th and if we were to finish in the same position at the end of the season, I beleive it would result in a coin flip(?)

I believe it goes down to goal difference, then goals scored, then head to head results, then coin flip.

Indeed, we are sixth, as I stated after the game last week. Nobody ever won a league by alphabetic positioning as far as I''m aware, otherwise we would be stupid not to rename ourselves.....  [:D]
