DanielHammond 0 Posted September 13, 2010 Just a quick question.... Did Grant Holt get booked because shackell had cramp? It looked like holty was laughing after the ref had booked him and from the barclay it looked like shackell was only hurt because of cramp (which turned out to be the case). If it was because of that it has got to be one of the most bizarre bookings of the season yet!
Largey 0 Posted September 13, 2010 According to BBC Sport, he did not receive a booking. But that''s as reliable as a chocolate kettle...
Graham Humphrey 13 Posted September 13, 2010 Holt wasn''t booked so I guess the answer is no.
Gingerpele 0 Posted September 13, 2010 The ref seemed to have his cards out, but never waved it about....

chicken 0 Posted September 13, 2010 Strangely I think he was but it was rescinded after Shackell spoke to the referee.I say that because he was defenitely remonstrating with the ref who had awarded something which appeared to be a free kick. Later on the ref spoke to him again and Holty appeared to be thanking him and looking very relieved. One player very lucky not to get a card was Crofts. He put in a very hard challenge towards the end and got a whole lot of the player - ref gave the free kick and it really should have been a yellow.
JTG 0 Posted September 14, 2010 No, he wasn''t booked for that. But Barnsley did receive a free kick because of Shackell''s apparent lack of fitness.
