Watching motd and can''t help but be so pleased for matt gilks. I got to know him when he was with us at Norwich and was a nice lad (he really didn''t roeder!!!....his words to me....he''s a c@nt!).

He never really had a chance with us but has proved himself as a decent keeper.

Agreed, never got a chance but always seemed willing and able waiting in the wings and deserves a good crack, nice to see him playing well and getting called up to international squad, hopefully he''ll be able to displace Marshall from that team atleast.

he was interviewd pre season and said his best year in football was the year at Norwich, even though he didn''t play.  Loved the training, the people and the place. 

Not bad picking that over a season of getting promotion th the premier league!
