Favourite Norwich City chant, and why?

Recommended Posts

[8]Black is Black....... We want Ron Davies back!

Alan Black was one of the first players we signed after selling Ron Davies and the fans weren''t happy. Los Bravos had a hit at the time with the song Black is Black. Our great friend Arrdee changed those lyrics to the ones that rang out from the Barclay.

Kenny, Kenny Foggo, Kenny Foggo on the wing!

Memories of my youth in the Barclay singing ''boots upside your head''
oh those were great days. Especially a chorus of ''sing up the river end'' and when they did the chant of ''nice to know youre here''great days

Onward Christian Soldiers sung with ''Keelan is our saviour Crossy (David Cross) is our King'' or ''Super Mac, Super Mac, Super MacDougall.''

Perhaps the most sustained chanting was after the game at the San Siro when we all sang ''Mike Walkers Green & Yellow Army'' non stop for half an hour while we were locked in. The Italian Police had seen nothing like it!!

For being original, i''m with Morty "The Safri Song"

Don''t get to many away games last year but getting off the train at Orient, there were crowds of Norwich fans getting off the tube singing, at it was brilliant - could wipe the grin from my face (until about 5 mins in the game)

One of my personal favourites was:-

"One F in Fleming,

There''s only one effing Fleming!

One F in Fleming,

There''s only one effing Fleming"

sung to the tune of ''Juantalamera'' or whatever that tune was.

The classic of all time had to be:-

"Six foot two, eyes of blue,

Duncan Forbes is after you,

La la la la la la la la la!"

Ah! Happy days.

"Delia Smith''s Green and Yellow Army"..........Loved that one.... and it''s likely to grow in popularity ....according to level of media spin and league position.

Don''t you just miss that one [:''(]

In it''s heyday it was nearly as popular as that old 90''s classic...

[8] "Chase Out"
Yes indeedy..... I can hear the haunting Deliarite bleat as I write......."Chase out" never passed my lips. I was far too grateful for that.

That makes it an elite group of just three. You, me and The Butler. But we had all those police horses to hide behind. Me and Butler kept our distance where as I seem to remember you loved being right behind the horses hoof......
