Has the club now blanked Archant?

Recommended Posts

If so, who could blame them after Archant reinvented Lamberts German article?

No manager, player or club interview on here, or in writing, since the joke of an article in the Evening News.

I trust heads will roll over this.

i think this is an interesting point, Wiz.

Holt blanked EEN on Saturday and now with the Lambert story maybe the club have taken a stance, until they apologise at least!

However, the EDP and NCFC have previously had a good relationship and I think they are an excellent paper with lots of stats and articles. Hopefully the realtionship isnt ruined.

They have apologised, it was a ''''Sorry Paul'''' article in last nights EEN.

FFS Wiz worry about more important things will you? You really must not have much of an interesting life if all you worry about is Archant''s business.

Yeah Wiz, worry about something important like why a club struggling financially has to audacity to raise its prices.

Whats this will the papers publishing rubbish about, first NOTW and now Archant lol.Its a shame really, its good for a club to have a positive relationship with its Local Press.Still, Radio Snorefolk is probably the most reliable Norwich City coverage now.

Plus 100gs of fizzy cola bottles as a 2 year suspended fine if they do something to annoy the club again.
What am i missing? I saw an article on the fact that Lambert would like us to play a friendly in Germany but can find nothing else!! ?? What is archant supposed to have done?
They lied basicly Dean.

They altered Lamberts quotes in a German mag to look like he wants to manage a German side and published a picture of him waving goodbye to City fans.

The truth was he wants to take a City side to Germany for a friendly.

What''s really strange about this whole episode is that a few months back when Bowkett was appointed to the board, someone not a million miles away from Lowestoft was angry because it meant the press would be tied up and act like a club mouthpiece  [8o|].  But now we find ourselves with a one-man boycott because the press aren''t in the club''s pocket and have made the club & its manager angry with some improper journalism [8o|].  I wish I could find the time to be angry about everything.  [8o|]

Our local newspaper should be supportive of Paul lambert and the club. Clearly the current sports editor at Archant is not. Therefore I ask him to do the honourable thing and resign immediately and unconditionally.
Of course!  I meant Stephan Phillips, Managing Director of Archant Norfolk.  I hope you won''t boycott this board because I made a silly mistake [:$]It does kind of squash the idea that Archant are in the club''s pocket though, doesn''t it?Or maybe the whole thing was deliberate just to give this impression.Who can you trust?
