Ruddy - 9 Awesome today, stopped everything and took everything well, so much for him being slated eh? I bet your all praising him as being a God now! :D (Joint MOTM)R.Martin -  7 Did well enough, didn''t cope well with Swanseas passing and skill.Nelson - 6 Some mis-timed tackles but he didn''t concede so I can''t critisize him too much.Ward - 9 Excellant tonight, nothing got past the guy and his passing is improving (Joint MOTM)Drury - 5 Didn''t look like the Drury we saw last season, really showed he lacked the pace, although He did have a quick player versus him so we can''t slag him off too much.Crofts - 7 Didn''t really notice him that much tonight which is unusual, from what I did see of him he got the tackles in when it was vital and did ok.Hoolahan - 3 Dreadful tonight, passing was poor and only once got past his oppenent out of 30 attempts.Smith - 7 Was energtic like the usual Korey we see and did well ok tonight.Surman - 6.5 Crossing was Spot on tonight but seemed to lack all of his other qualities we saw of his in pre-season.Holt - 4 Passing was dreadful with exception to one quality pass he made, didn''t win that much and barely got any shots of all game.Martin - 4 Not much from this young striker tonight had some early crosses towards the beginning of the game which he should of been in the box for not taking them.Subs:McNamee - 6 did ok when he came on, Set up our first goal(Which is classed as an own goal?)Jackson - 6 His rating would of dropped a bit but fair dues to the guy he got his first city goal, but was trying skill he couldn''t do when he came on which was frustrating other than this he didn''t have enough time for more info.Attendance  - 6 quite poor, expected better.Crowd - 9 Great atmosphere sung the team to victory!Lambert - 7 Did what he came out to do grab 3 points.

Ruddy - 8 - Couple of good saves and redeemed conceding the penalty by saving it well.R. Martin - 7 - Coped reasonably well against a very dangerous Sinclair, although a couple of nervy moments.Nelson - 8 (my MOM) - Tough one but I thought he was excellent.  Numerous saving tackles and blocks.  Defended exceptionally well.Ward - 8 - Again, extremely good.  Not much in this one but thought Nelson was ever-so-slightly more assured.  Getting better with each game and looks like a promising partnership.Drury - 5 - Not his best afternoon.  Nathan Dyer and then David Cotterill turned him inside out.  Will have better days.Crofts - 7 - Not as impressive as his previous two games but solid enough and at least got himself stuck in and hassled them.K. Smith - 6 - Better than last week but struggled a little.  Helped Martin down the right side quite well defensively however.Surman - 6 - Once again, showed in flashes his obvious quality with the ball but drifted in and out of the game far too much and more than we could really afford against a side like Swansea.Hoolahan - 5 - A bad day at the office.  Always wanted the ball as usual, but lost it in his own half several times and lost it far too easily in attacking positions too.Holt - 6 - Not his best game, didn''t hold the ball up well, didn''t find teammates often enough but played big parts in both goals.C. Martin - 6 - Did well for the second goal and showed some nice touches but not really in the game as much as he should be.Subs:McNamee - 7 - looked very lively, gave us some needed pace and put the cross in for the own goal.Jackson - not on for long but embarrassing attempts at step-overs aside, very energetic and a cracking finish at the end.Overall:  very very lucky to win.  Swansea were impressive on the ball and their midfield was classy.  When we bothered to close them down they made a few mistakes but we gave them too much time and space for the most part and with the quality they have on the ball, it''s not very clever.  They lacked a cutting edge though and that was probably their downfall - that, and having the stuffing knocked out of them when the penalty was saved.  Full credit to us for hanging in there and not falling apart and scoring late goals once more but were it not for the defence and goalkeeper there is no way we would have the three points.  An excellent result.
