League Cup 2nd Round

Recommended Posts

Apparently we are one of the three ''reserve'' seeds for the 2nd round - meaning we, Scunthorpe and Palace become seeded if Cardiff, Sheffield United and Reading lose (we need all 3 to lose, Scunthorpe only 1)

At the time of writing, Reading are drawing 0-0, Sheff U lost 2-0 and Cardiff are drawing 1-1.  So we have a chance of getting a winnable tie in the 2nd round

CMON!!!

Nothing on the official cup websites or the official FL website CallsignViper, although Cardiff are going through it seems so looks like we''ll probably end up being an unseeded club anyway.

Cardiff now 3-1 up, we''ll be unseeded barring a miracle. Ipswich at home please.

Did I mis-hear or did Ed Chamberlin just call this "one of the glamour ties of the round"? [:|]

It''s probably got a good chance of being on telly, which isn''t really a good thing.

We were lucky to be at home in the first round so wasn''t really expecting a home draw with our luck.  Bad draw.[:(]

great draw imo...

we can go out early, avoid injuries, have more time for the league but also save embarrasment as their the expected winner....fa cup is different but the carling cup is pointless for non-premier sides, no money or glamour in it
