? 20 Posted August 3, 2010 Just wasted a good twenty minutes at work trying to settle an argument, but had no luck and was wondering if anyone would be so kind as to help...Does anyone know when the last time a team won consecutive promotions to reach the top flight, in English football? And, in the interests of getting this related to NCFC so as to avoid the forum police, does anyone genuinely believe we can do it?Personally, i''m looking no higher than a comfortable mid-table position. ? 20 Posted August 3, 2010 Fulham had a year in between their promotions, if i remember correctly. Which, judging from my previous attempt at remembering something, i''m not.Hull, Peterborough and Exeter didn''t get promoted to the top flight, though, but nice one, nonetheless.
