Whatever is the matter with people nowadays, someone goes to a bit of trouble to do a preview for us and all people do is moan.

Well I for one appreciate the time its taken him to put it together and post it, it gets you in the mood for Friday.

[/quote]Totally agree.  I can''t understand the mentality of some people.I thought it was good.  Considering you''re 13 and it''s your first effort I think you''ve done well here.  There are many people much older than that here who only write garbage.  If you persist with it you''ll only improve too.

Champions - it''s a good idea to do a pre-match preview throughout the season and I like the overall concept.

If I were you, I''d think about getting onto a blogging site and setting up your own blog.  You can always post on here when you post something new.  Or get in touch with the Pink Un and ask for a blog space. 

Proof read everything you write and get someone else to proof read it too if you can: some of your sentences got a little muddled in places. Write it in word and check it before copying it into your post might help too.

My only other thought is what can you do to make this preview different to other previews?  I like the key man bits, they''re your opinion of course and that''s something different to other writers, but how will you keep the key man bit for Norwich players fresh and will it change depending upon opponents, etc or will it end up being the same players week in week out?

I think it''s already been said, but this is a good start; don''t let negative comments get you down or make you give up; there was enough enthusiasm from you to take the first step and publish it, so try to keep that up by continuing to improve and look for new angles. 

Given the responses, perhaps your angle is that you write a preview that will get people talking/posting in response; controversial key man choices and firm opinions on tactics, players, performances, etc will usually get people going.

You can also feel free to discard my opinions too!

Well done mate, a fine start to your writing career. I would be careful about using different fonts and styles in your writing.

It could look like it has been copied and doesn''t look good anyway. Keep everything in the same style.

Thanks. Well I didn''t mean to change the size, I really and tried to get it all the same but it didn''t make a difference? In the box to write it said it was all size 3 but then when I went into preview it was larger, but I couldn''t change it. At first I made ''The Hornets'' and ''The Canaries'' in yellow and size 4 so that probably messed it up. It always seems to change the font/size when I use a lot of colors and smileys!Thanks for showing Nana!
