size does matter

And if doc or shacks play they will only come up to his shoulders so it all comes back to positioning and organisation rather than size.OTBC

we are assuming crouch will play- maybe he will if the southampton management realise how vunerable we are at high balls in the box!

but will crouch benefit from this?  Don''t know - if he is that good i guess we will find out!  You know how our ex players come back to haunt us (excluding ade akinbiyi)

obviously our defensive organisation needs some work, we cannot let the mistakes of last week happen again - i don''t think it will be pretty, but we must be determined to concentrate and play for the full 90 minutes, and as we are at home, attack the goal from the word go

then it hardly matters what crouch is doing, unless he is defending their back post

Crouch?

My memory of him is that he received it to head well, although he generally scored with his pegs. Made a few for Hux.

Frankly, I''m concerned if he plays.

With Beattie and Kevin Philips around, the knock ons could be lethal.

I''d bring on Shackell - or give Charlton a ladder.

Apparently, in the event of the Saints winning corners against City, and due to Crouchy playing for us last season and being awarded a Championship medal. He must, whilst the taking of the corner is in progress (and this is according to FA regulations!) stand in the photographers pits either side of our goal, as his vertical advantage, is deemed unfair to our back four....

Honestly, it''s true! I got it from a reputable inside contact at ''Carra Rud''. You just watch on Saturday when we concede a corner.... I have it on good authority, that if he doesn''t comply  "We take his medal off him!"....
