I saw him several times playing for the reserves. A good versatile player who worked hard whether up front or in defence- scored a few goals - Wish him all the best at his new club where I''m sure he''ll be given the opportunity to fulfil his potential. With all the talk about the England players playing out of position - I wonder if it does any player any good when he is regularly asked to play out of his natural position?

Quick, but little else, I fear. He was favoured by one of the previous managers, was it Roeder, but did not seem to have control or finishing power.

I wish him well, and he may well develop a little, but at the moment he is surplus to requirements.
