"I speak, English, Yank, and French. English being the toughest of the lot."

Doesn''t surprise me!

When I lived in the states, I refused to write "English" on any of my "English" lessons stuff, and insist on it being "American"...

Guten Tag Morty! Wie gehts??!Nah, I can''t really speak German very well anymore, but often try with my overseas clients at work. Those being the ones who reside in Deutschland of course!Ich habe meisse vergessen! My Grandma is Austrian and my Grandad half German, so I always think if I spent a year in Germany I''d pick it up again.

I worked on contract in Germany (Hamburg and Frankfurt) for three years, and for a German company (AEG) in Slough for 14 years which allowed us a tutor once a week, and also took the opportunity to study at nightschool while in Germany, so my German is not bad. I also studied French at school and in more recent times have been learning Portuguese for my travels to Brazil, which should be very handy for World Cup 2014. [<:o)]

World cup meals are good as well.  Roast Beef for the English, Sausage for the Germans, Burgers for the Yanks, Pizzas or Spaghetti for the Italians, Kebabs for the Greeks, Lamb for New Zealand, Beer for the Aussies (and nothing else) and Golden Labrador for the Koreans
