You could add Ward, Lappin, Hughes and possibly McNamee, when he was at Watford, but I can''t think of any others, although Holt and R. Martin have some Champs experience. I still think this could be a problem, especially now that Russell has left. Looking a bit thin indeed.

Yes the Championships a step up from League 1 but not that big a step up!

 

I think the difference will be that poor form and sloppyness will be punished far more quicker in the Championship!

To be honest I am not entirely bothered by this issue.I don''t think the step up is that massive and its still the same game of football.If you want to get really flappy about it, Lambert has no Championship experience either lol.

We have had teams in the championship made up of players with prem experience and still under-achieved. The team we got relegated with had copious amounts of champ experience with a smattering of prem.

It means nothing. We want players on the up, not players that are on the way down or stagnating, players with desire and passion for football, not fat wagepackets.

I think we''ve got a decent mix of experience in the team. Yes, some players without Championship experience, but we''ve got a fair few with it and one or two with even better experience besides (Smith, for instance).

I think our TEAM is very good, but our squad may not be as good, the 11 we played last season did very well, obviously adjustments will be made, Ward in for a start, possibley Whitbread as well, looking more likely a new GK, Surman for Lappin, and either Crofts or Hughes for Russel......but i think we need a bit more experiance and class, a few players like Dublin maybe (i don''t think we will get anyone as good as him, but someone with the same experiance....) and maybe a couple more youngsters that may already be able to get stuck in this season...
