In July 2009 Adomah was linked with a move to both Championship side Blackpool and Norwich City of League One.^[5]

On 31 August it was reported that although Barnet had turned down

another bid from Blackpool, Adomah was in talks with the Seasiders.^[6][7]

However, a day later, on the final day of the transfer window, Barnet chairman Tony Kleanthous revealed

that transfer talks with Blackpool broke down two hours before the

deadline, and confirmed that he had also turned down offers from both

Norwich City and Watford.^[8]

The following day it was reported that Adomah could still move to

Blackpool on loan with a view to a permanent move in January 2010.^[9]
