Taiwo

Anyone know f he is a left sided midfielder as that would make more sense as it would create competition for Lappin?

How do you pronounce that name anyway?  Tawo or as in some african countries, you extend the `o` and raise ..so Tawooah?

Are you sure? that seems a very anglicized pronunciation!

Taye Taiwo from Marseille is said the same way as has been suggested here. Being as they are both Nigerian, this is probably the best answer. I wouldn''t be obliged to calling him Tay - wo, however.

Have read on 606 that he is more left sided than central, so more like cover/ competition for Lappin. Not to sure how to pronounce his name, but I am sure we will find something to call him if he isn''t that good!

[/quote]Give me 1 example of a player from an african country where you extend the ''o'' on the end of their name to make an ''oah'' sound.
