JF 694 Posted May 17, 2010 Ok not much going on with Norwich at the moment so in your opinion what is the best goal ever scored? For me even though it was against England it has to be Maradona................... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jk-kXwjASEE

Howson is now! 0 Posted May 17, 2010 I preferred Michael Owen''s goal against the Argies over Maradona''s. As people have said about Maradona''s it was on the biggest stage in football, Maradona was a 26 year old man, Owen was still a 19 year old boy. Plus of course I''m biased as it was for England instead of against England. Hahaha.

In Dubious Battle 0 Posted May 17, 2010 Apparently it almost defies the laws of physics, he has to get every thing 100% spot on to succeed speed, spin, direction. It is basically the perfect free kick. How much of it was down to skill and how much luck is open to debate.
Curos Pippy Level 0 Posted May 17, 2010 Zidane v Leverkusen was pretty special. Talk about on the biggest stage, the Champions League Final and smashing in a volley with his weaker foot from the edge of the area. Unbelievable technique! Pure class!!
Inch High aka Inchy.. 417 Posted May 17, 2010 OK so this one may not be the best goal ever but it''s one I was lucky enough to be in the ground to witness and the one that will live with me forever.[;)] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owCt1dGrK2E

Ivana_rubyatitz 6 Posted May 18, 2010 Some great candidates already mentioned, but I still have a soft spot for John Barnes goal against Brazil when he dribbled through virtually the entire team before slotting it home. Shame he never did anything in an England shirt again.
