Row D Seat 7

Leon Mckenzie released by Charlton

Not really a surprise. Since he got that ankle injury playing for us he has never been the same along with the other well publicised stuff which was flying around at the time. Flogging him to Coventry for that kind of money was a decent move.

Shame. He was a good servant to us, even given the contraversial circumstances surrounding his departure.

I won''t be spilling any tears for him.... this is likely to be the end of his career, 0 goals in 12 league games in League One, but he is 32..... he won''t be the first striker to retire at 32.... in fact I can''t think of too many who justify playing past 32..... Iwan Roberts and Jamie Cureton to name two..... he has had a good career in football.

He was a journeyman before he came here.

To be honest he played his best football at City. However there was a lot a baggage that came with him.

A lot of fans will never forgive him for the circumstances in which he left when the club supported him when he was at his lowest.

My personal best memories of him are the double at Portaloo Road and the goal against United in the Premier League

I think he had the best years of his career at Carrow Road - a great shame that he left in somewhat contoversial circumstances. I wish him well.

Don''t know what everyone''s problem is with McKenzie and the way he left. No skin off my back. The guy fought for our colours as good as any. Should have been given more of a shot at it than he was and left due to family situation.

Can any of us blame him for that? Can you honestly say that football comes before your family?

I respect him for moving on because it must have been a hard decision to leave a club where you are well liked just because of what someone else and your wife did.

Its a bit like the Bridge and Terry stuff. I don''t blame him and it is a shame that he has had a horrendous string of injuries. I wish him the best for his future and hope he has a couple more seasons in the tank yet.

No ill feeling towards him what-so-ever. We sold him at the right time and at least we got a good fee for him too.

He won''t kid himself, his best moment was scoring the second against Man Utd. That says it all really, his best is in the past. Good lad though, and did well for us, shame it didn''t work out afterwards

I would agree with all of that if he hadn''t celebrated quite so much when he scored against us for Coventry, since when I think he''s a git.
