Pompey_88 0 Posted May 20, 2010 Just heard cowling talk on col utd world and he said that a decision has been made and they want it to be made public but we don''t, so looks like col u are happier with the decision than we were
William Darby 0 Posted May 20, 2010 If these tribunals are public information legally there isn''t much this club can do to block it. If they''re are meant to be private and Old Cow is going too spill his guts. Maybe they''ll be another tribunal over the leaking of the results of the original tribunal. Tim Allman 1 Posted May 20, 2010 Just listened to Cowdung''s interview on the Col Who Player. There''s a second part to the tribunal hearing / decision to come not sure exactly what that is. Cowdung wanted to have a decision made public, but cannot at the moment, probably as there''s a second part to come.If I was a betting man the first part probably relates to compensation re Lambert which we knew we had to pay, and the second may relate to the minor infringement of the rule regarding appointment of another club''s manager. If you have a Canary Player account you can listen to the interview. Nexus_Canary 1,159 Posted May 20, 2010 I hope we gave them Glen Roeder''s agent''s contact number as compensation :-/
Carra_Rud 0 Posted May 20, 2010 This is part of a post made by a Colchester fan on 606."At the end of the interview, Cowling was asked about the situation regarding Lambert and that compensation issue. He said:- An agreement has been reached on "a part" of the hearing (I can only assume this may be the compensation issue, not the alleged rule breaking) and the other half was still being looked into.- The process for this second part is still to get underway. I would assume this is about the possibility of the underhand methods used or not used, but can''t say this for sure!- The current status is remaining undisclosed as an order by the tribunal, however Colchester are looking for the issue to be disclosed. "Read into that what you may" RC says, as well as "Colchester United want the decision to be made public".
Bill 1,788 Posted May 20, 2010 who gives a s***if it is as much as cowling claimed he would get then no non disclosure will hide deducted points, playing behind closed doors etcmaybe it''s a suspension for Crookmaybe we are in the Championship and they are still in league 1and maybe most football fans will see that all next season and the ''naughtiness'' we are supposedly guilty of will be soon forgot

Graham Paddons Beard 2,653 Posted May 20, 2010 if it is "an agreement" then it suggests that compensation has been agreed. This could have an affect on the rule breaking decision, remember the deal that was undisclosed on Grayson?

Grayson & Holloway both resigned from their respective clubs and were appointed without compensation agreed, in both cases compensation was then sorted without further punishment. rocky marshall 0 Posted May 21, 2010 Seems to be what RC is hinting at... what could it mean???http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/colchester_united/8696282.stm
First Jedi 0 Posted May 21, 2010 That Cowling is still a bullshitter and that you shouldn''t trust a single word that come out of his slimy mouth...
Norfolk Mustard 106 Posted May 21, 2010 Best to ignore him. Cowlings focus is on making endless appointments at his club - but that''s hardly a surprise if he''s in the recruitment industry is it?I''d rather we concentrated on winning games to get ourselves up the league - and that''s exactly what we have begun to do.Even if it has cost a few quid, surely it is well worth it?Colchester remain where they were, while Norwich have moved onwards and upwards. Even Cowling must have noticed that?

Arthur Whittle 0 Posted May 22, 2010 decision has been made and they want it to be made public but we don''tNever understood this. Several clubs, use the old "undisclosed" fee.....why???...Seriously, what harm would it do???.....I actually think that people have the right to know how much their club has paid or recieved........I remeber the Dave Striker thing....people at the club were hinting the deal was around £750,000....then after he left the rumour was we got him for peanuts on a short term contract.......why withold information from fans.......
