silver fox 0 Posted March 1, 2004 Am I right in saying that because the match versus Sunderland was called off it means that the yellow cards for Huckerby, McVeigh and the other City players are now cancelled? If this is the case then at least something good came out of weekend.
PH 0 Posted March 2, 2004 Mr Silver Fox. Yes, you are right. Are you driving up to the game tonight?
a1canary 0 Posted March 2, 2004 And the fact that Sunderland followed by West Brom 3 days later is a seriously tough assignment and the lads would have been pretty black and blue preparing for tonight, maybe even injured some of them. I think the cancellation followed by WBA''s slip up v Rotherham is great news. Lady luck is with us this year. We played West Ham without an on fire Connolly and Defoe, we played Millwall''s second team almost, we''ve snatched some very unlikely victories when playing poorly (Derby, Forest, Sunderland at home,) had some fortunate goals (McVeigh''s deflected goal v Reading, Huckerby v W Ham) and various other slices of luck such as on the injury front and with the yellow cards. We''ve had plenty of convincing victories and performances too and you make your own luck but you need it and this year we have it. That''s why we''re going up! Who killed the Croutons 0 Posted March 2, 2004 Silver Fox and PH. How does that rule work then I''ve not heard of it, does that effectively work the slate clean?
SI 0 Posted March 2, 2004 It works that they need now 10 yellow cards to have a one match ban. It is not a clean slate but an extension of 5 b4 the rest.....
