Ren 75 Posted May 10, 2010 I also had the fortune to travel back from Yeovil sitting next to Bart on Cabbage. What a really really nice bloke he is. We had a great chat about the game and various grounds that we had been to. ...and yes he did have a pile of programmes with him + a signed shirt that Yeovil had given him (think it was Darren Way he knew down there).I was delighted for him on Saturday. A great gesture by NCFC to a loyal fan!
City penguin 0 Posted May 10, 2010
The funny thing is Barty came to see me at half-time like he often does and he didn''t even mention he was going to do it. I am really pleased for him, was a great choice by the club. Bart is a great Norwich City fan but he always see''s the game fairly and was telling me how good Carlisle were especially their front two. Like Jas says, he''s a top man. A word of warning though, don''t go with him to the various club shops around the country. Because if you do you won''t ever get time for the pub and you will end up looking after the endless programmes he buys until after the game[:S][;)]
haha i know where you coming from, remember i think birmingham, possibly derby were we brought him back 3 or 4 programmes. AndyCanary 0 Posted May 10, 2010 Why does he buy so many programmes?
InLambertWeTrust! 0 Posted May 10, 2010
Why does he buy so many programmes?
I buy a programme (sp?) from every single game I go to. They''re all storage in my house as well!Got a problem with that? [:P]Good old Bart [Y] clearly passionate about the club. Fair play to him [B]
AndyCanary 0 Posted May 10, 2010 No problem with anything. I may have misunderstood but several posters have made out that he buys several multiples of the same program on match days?
City penguin 0 Posted May 10, 2010 i dont actually know. Maybe they were for friends?
AndyCanary 0 Posted May 10, 2010 Yeah I thought it maybe that. By the sounds of it it''s the sort of nice gesture he''d do [:)]
NCFC_Shaun 0 Posted May 10, 2010
Why does he buy so many programmes?
He buys them for various people, always 3-4 each game, I''m not sure who though. Also, if there is two versions of the program, as there was at Huddersfield (A home and away programme) - he gets them both for himself.
