Leeds United are mounting an official protest at Lambert getting the League One Manager of the Year award.

They claim that the award should, "rightly and fairly" have gone to Simon Grayson who has guided them to an epoch making 2nd place in the league, despite the handicap of their 13 point lead over Norwich at one stage of the season, as well as having, at the same time, a +12 goal difference in comparisons to Norwich''s -3.

A Leeds spokesperson said that the snub would spoil the open top bus parade that the club are organising for the weekend of 15/16 May, when as many as dozens of Leeds fans are expected to line the street to celebrate and see them awarded the "Second place in League 1-and only just-after three years trophy". The Red Arrows will do a celebratory fly past as part of the day.

All well and good but he''s not as good a manager as Adie Boothroyd .......... according to Cowling. I bet steam is coming out of his ears at this news. Which begs the question - what about the outcome of the "tribunal" ?!
