Burnley release players

[DDD In The Fine City 1]

Today have released skipper Steven Caldwell, Stephen Jordan and Nicky Weaver

Anyone think these lads could add something?

Definately Caldwell he is a good championship defender and i would have Jordan as back-up for Drury

Steven Jordan would definately be a good signing to compete with Drury but doubt he''d want to join as 2nd choice.

Caldwell would probably want a Premiership wage, but if he''s not going to cost anything then maybe that''s the kind of signing that Bowkett/McNally would sanction? Would certainly add good depth to the CB position - Nelson will struggle in the Championship. Hopefully Askou''s mare on Saturday was just ring-rust after his injury and he''ll offer good competition for places.
