Yobocop 1,083 Posted May 14, 2010 Thought he was looking a bit lonely on the bus yesterday...no one was talking to him...bless him....
TheNewBoy 0 Posted May 14, 2010 Maybe they don''t like him, he does seem a little irritating, perhaps they lock him in the toilets like they used to do to Bellars.Or alternatively, and much more likely, he still lives in Essex and so doesn''t socialise much with the other players? He has Olly Murs as his buddy.....Even more likely, he was just in awe and felt a little out of place, since 18 months ago his was a scaffolder. I would be taking it all in if I was him too. BroadstairsR 0 Posted May 14, 2010 A pity as everybody wanted this move to work, but he has not quite made it. If he could hardly get into the L.1 side, he stands little chance of a game in the Championship. Lambert added to the strike force last season, thus passing over Cody.He is no youngster either, by comparison with the others --- Martin, Rudd, Spillane, Adeyemi etc. and can no longer claim to be acclimatising to the professional game.He could do well at professional level, but not in any higher platform than L.1. IMHO.Worth £75, 000?
grantroederdisaster 0 Posted May 14, 2010 Was a decent squad player last season and could do a similar job next season but hes got to improve if hes going to stay at the club after next season!
Huh?! 0 Posted May 14, 2010 Lambert must like something about him considering he''s signed a new two year deal even though he''s been injured!!
tom1902 0 Posted May 14, 2010 lambert didnt give him a new contract.it was a clause in his contract that was triggered.
Boyo 0 Posted May 14, 2010
he has not quite made it.
He hasn''t really been given much of a chance. Everytime he came on this season he was a threat and whenever he filled in for people he scored goals, what more could he do? I still think he should be playing more regualarly, he is better than Oli Johnson by a country mile.
Mason 47 1,351 Posted May 14, 2010 They didn''t have to activate the clause, they could have left him out.
I am a Banana 0 Posted May 14, 2010 I think, if he was given that chance, he would score goals. He always looks likely when coming off the bench and has pace, which scares all defenders!
Howson is now! 0 Posted May 14, 2010 We chanted "Cody! Give us a wave!" and he didn''t. He did smile though. Think he just seemed a bit in awe by it.
TheGoogler 324 Posted May 14, 2010 In fairness to him, every time he has played he has done well. I think he needs a season playing for a progressive team like Brentford or Exeter so we can see how if he''s got it.

Suffolk exile 0 Posted May 14, 2010 Not sure he has the class in front of goal, would love to be prved wrong though as he gives his all. As someone mentioned a lengthy loan to the likes of Orient would do him good and tell us if we really do have someone who could cut the mustard.
