Why on a fecking Thursday the dribblers?! I''m in London working that day!! [:@]

Andy I am assuming this is right as been posted several times now. I think it is this date because cant be the Sunday / Monday due to the clash with Wroxham so I suppose they just decided that night was quickest they could get as it cant be until after Saturday as the league will want their bit of publicity.

And there was me thinking they''d hold it off until July when I move back... have only just got back from a long weekend in Norwich today, unlikely to be down again between now and then [:(]

Is it an overnight stay as I cant see it starting until 7ish as they will need to get rid of the rush hour traffic. Train back to Norwich and we will get you rest of way afterwards.
I''m exhibiting at http://www.channelexpo.co.uk/ it closes at 4pm. I maybe able to sneak away earlier but I''m staying in Wisbech next week so it''ll be a bit of a mad rush. If I did make it I''d have to attend in a suit which is no fun.

Lambert will be in a suit as well, following on from Saturday you could be the solitary Lambert look alike at the civic reception

I think a manager should be in a tracksuit pitch side, save the suit for civic receptions and wembley [:)]

I live in the same flats as Mcnally, he was wearing jeans and jumper yesterday, it was the first time i have seen him without a suit on... he looked ummmmmm... casual [:S]

Ask him if him and Delia will join in the Lambert day on Saturday, sure they could borrow some gear from the club shop.

Why do we have to wait that long for a reception or bus tour, everybody can watch the Wroxham match, if they want, and after that we can have the reception, or even before the match .. come on ...

We already have to wait 2 weeks before we get our League One Trophy, come on lets party this weekend.

We are a big City with a big club but not celebrate at all (?), look how Peterborough celebrated their promotion immediately last season, which has nothing to do with how they performed this season, our supporters want to celebrate too. We are very lucky to be champions again in such a short notice, 6 years, so that alone is reason enough to make it another special day .. SOON PLEASE !!!!!

I think it will start at about 1730hrs, there are concerns about lifting the trophy at city hall due to the work that is ongoing on the war memorial which is at the front of city hall. Don''t be surprised if it is a different location this time.

Why don''t they have an open top bus route round the city and end up at Carrow Road - better view, more people able to see it etc etc.

Glad they are doing something to recognise the huge achievement the team have made at winning this league though it''s a pants time for us exiles. Will have to make do with any clips and reports that get posted on here - thanks in advance for anyone who does that

You won''t be alone, people have to work and others have to travel long distances.  Personally think this is a bit silly holding it on a weekday.

I hope those that can go enjoy it [<:o)]

Finish work at 2pm that day. Might just take a drive up there and take a peek.

My memories of 2004 when we were promoted to the Prem are some of the best I can remember in my 23 year life so far. I''d just had a great weekend, not been able to listen to Norwich''s final game, but found out the result (at Crewe?) when I got home. The Monday I had college in the morning, was collected by my Dad at around 1pm and came home.

Then met my best mate (a Man Utd fan) in the city for a few drinks at the Bell before going down to City Hall and pushing my way nearest the front to see the celebrations.

After that, outside the bell again to see the bus drive past. Great scenes. Then to Owens? I think it was called for a few drinks, pub crawl which ended in Time (as it was then), then home. I even remember eating a chicken sandwich when I got home.

College the next day I had Maths and Sociology.

Cheers :-)

I skipped school for the afternoon (''dentist'' - though I may have blown my cover by being on camera in the crowd!), my dad left work for the afternoon and we stood in the sunshine outside City Hall for six or seven hours before heading over to Castle Meadow to see the bus go by. Remember this amazing sight!
