The rebellion against Delia has begun!

If the Daily Mail critics had been around in Stalin''s Soviet Union....I wonder how many would have survived his purges?

After all any critics would have been a threat to power.

I can''t help but think of our politicians who avoid the people other than their own party''s supporters....oh hang on minute

the Clunking Fist put his foot in his gob the other day with one of his own supporters or should I say ex supporter!
Good idea, let''s shut down Britain''s biggest circulation national daily newspaper. All these frightful readers, terrible. Much better to have those nice socialist people who just throw people out of public meetings if they voice a dissenting point of view. Long live the socialist utopia of the workers'' paradise. A Pyongyang party rally anyone?
Not a cat in hells chance of a Conservative, Labour, Lib Dem or a Green getting elected in Norwich South as there is a candidate for

The Socialist Workers Party!

May be they read the SWP.''s rag instead of The Daily Mail.

P.S. The SWP. candidate is not called Smudger!

I suppose you believe Flash Gordon when he tells you that the Tories are going to cut the child benefit without telling the truth that its only those who are earning £50k or more that are having the child benefit cut. After all something has to give when the ANNUAL deficit is £160bn+  The accumulated national debt will continue to grow even if they manage to start reducing the annual deficit. Gees what a mess.

As for the Indy, well one of their left wing journalists was well and truly verbally taken apart by James Max during a newspaper review on Sky News a few days ago. At least she had the sense in the end to realise that James Max did know what he was talking about......

The EDP has got a bigger circulation than the f**king Daily Mail.

This was the quote for me:

''One disgruntled cook, describing herself as a full-time working mother, wrote on the website: ‘I bought the very expensive ingredients for the seafood risotto, expecting to lay on a treat for my family. We all had one mouthful and gagged.

‘It was disgusting, to say the very least. The entire meal went in the bin and we all had toast instead''

If she was such a good ''cook'' she would''ve continually checked the dish as she cooked it, and if she didn''t its her fault for putting it out in front of the family. It angers me how some people complain like they''re so thick!!! If you''re that snobish to buy ''expensive ingredients'' why didn''t you get a f**king takeaway love?

I don''t think its down to the recipe here I think its people getting the instructions wrong...if you can''t cook don''t blame the chef blame yourself!!

Tangie... Do you believe everything you read in the Daily Mail and disbelieve everything Herman reads in The Guardian? Would it help you even more to form an opinion if you found out that Delia reads The Gaurdian while McNally reads The Mail?

I don''t read any of them so you can''t put me into a little box and label me left or right.

I read The Cromer Crabline and I believe everything in it. In this weeks issue I learned : -

We Are In Deep

Trouble....

The population of this country is approximately 60 million. 32 million are retired. That leaves 28 million to do the work. 17 million are in school or at Universities, which leaves 11 million to do the work. 8 million are employed by the government. Leaving 3 million to do the work.1.2 million are in the armed forces either preoccupied with killing Bin-Laden, or fighting in Afghanistan . Which leaves 1.8 million to do the work. Take from that total the 0.8 million people who work for Local Councils. And that leaves 1 million to do the work. At any given time there are 488,000 people in hospitals or claiming Invalidity Benefit. Leaving 512,000 to do the work. Now, there are 511,998 people in prisons. That leaves just two people to do the work.

So there''s me cleaning bogs and you doing sums but WTF are Herman and Shack doing?

You could increase employment by 50% in one fell swoop by employing either Herman or Shack to clean your bogs.

But help out Gordon, the local economy and the nation? Oh nooooooo...........seems you love that task too much. Or maybe you''re just attached to those brushes?

So, I guess that makes you part of the problem.

Explains quite a few things though.

Hmmm.
Sorry, I think you''re confused here. You seem to be suggesting the Daily Mail would have existed in Stalin''s

USSR but it wouldn''t as all news reporting was state controlled.  You also seem to be suggesting the Daily Mail would have backed Stalin''s policies, which they wouldn''t.And if you think Communism is the only system which represses free speech and basic civil liberties then I give you 19th century America, and any number of contemporary African "democracies".In addition, between the Daily Mail on the far right and Stalin on the far left, there exists a lovely long continuum in which human rights, free speech and the freedom to buy whatever poisonous and bigoted daily news source one wishes all peacefully coexist. It''s a very poor analogy, basically.  I''d stick to your fag packet accounting.

Don''t bother Shack - he''s already demonstrated how people like him only deal in extremes. If you don''t like the Mail, you''re obviously a communist despot.

Reading the delia article i saw another on the page complaining about Dr Who being ''too sexy''! I''m only glad the daily newspaper with the (second) biggest circulation still only gets to brainwash 3% of the british population. At least most readers (and writers) of the one with the biggest circulation realise it''s just a comic and a bit of current fun. The biggest joke is that the whale thinks it''s better than the red tops.

What my expose that Doncaster had not left the NCFC. board while a considerable part of the supporter base had believed the spin.

My suggestion that the non football related costs at NCFC need cutting.........then later we find out McNally is cutting costs

If you want drivel Capt Ludd you should read the political literature of the Labour and Liberal Democrats (in the Norwich South area) that I have been reading recently.

Old Lyphovis a pain in the a*se to be fair. He''s always wittering on about "his" country and not agreeing with this that or the other but he was quite happy to turn his back on us for a nice warm sundrenched life on "Easy Street"[H] Same with the football club. You should hear what he has to say about this season in what he refers to as "The Third Division". To be honest, I think it''s a Godsend that he p*ssed off into the sun. If he was still here some poor unfortunate soul would end up next to him at Carrow Road having to listen to his incessant ramblings about "the good old days".
