He had a couple of decent saves yesterday, and he was solid, but thb. most of Charlton''s attempts were pretty lame.

Maybe that''s in part because he positioned himself and the defense so well. Green to start in S Af, FF on the bench!

Yes he made several over 10 ''lame attempt'' saves.. but he also made several top top class saves.What about the save from the free kick just outside the area on the second half.. Superb.

I think he''s earned us several points over the course of this season. Like any keeper, he''s made mistakes but his contribution to our promotion was up there with Holt/Matrins goals.

With all that pressure we were under in the second half I thought he and the back four worked as a superb unit to ensure a clean sheet.

Forster made some big saves, but the defenders were also responsible for getting in blocks and closing down so Charlton''s forwards had to rush their shots as well.

It was team work and he commanded those in front of him brilliantly.

He is a fantastic shot stopper but unless he can improve his kicking which was shocking again yesterday he wont play for england

I reckon Paul Lambert''s gonna go for him in the summer, probably on a loan. There was something about his interview when he was questioned about it that just made me think that.
