willynaylor 0 Posted April 17, 2010 The first masterstroke was getting rid of Gunn earlier in the season, when he clearly wasnt up to it (although in fairness signed some good players)The second was getting in Lambert, who''s gonna be hot property if he isnt alreadyAnd as for my boys Leeds - what a fucking shamolic sick joke of a club we areI''ve already planned my route to Rochdale and Notts County, my god why do I do this to myselfCongrats and enjoy next season - you deserve it
I am a Banana 0 Posted April 17, 2010 i feel sorry that your in this awful position, but i deep down just dont like the arrogance of many leds fans and therefore want you to stay down!
Jacko 0 Posted April 17, 2010 Well the massive positive Leeds can take at of today is that nobody has capitalised on them slipping up. Leeds have got two home games where they should get results. If they won both it would mean they have a fantastic chance of going up automatically. Beating Charlton away will be a difficult task though. In the second half they were really impressive. I don''t think I have ever seen Norwich under such constant pressure ever in a game.
Branston Pickle 3,264 Posted April 18, 2010 Cheers willy - the second promotion spot is looking interesting but fwiw I reckon you''ll make it; the two home games might be the key but there''s that rather big Charlton game coming up.
TheNewBoy 0 Posted April 18, 2010 Thanks for the congrats. I don''t see many good Bryan Gunn signings though?Grant Holt of course, Nelson scored the goal that took us up..... I can''t even think of anybody else who has been involved, Hughes has played a bit part....Thats it, 2 of our first teamers are Gunn signings, and 1 on the fringe... the rest have been released or playing reserve team football all year... ......and Smith must score. 1,118 Posted April 18, 2010 Cheers for the congrats willy. After our little wobble recently it''s a nice feeling to know that we haven''t got to share squeaky bum time with anyone now. There are some decent Leeds fans around, but, as in every club the idiots tar everyone with the same brush. scrimmage 0 Posted April 18, 2010 You can''t deny Holt, Nelson, Askou before he was injured, but the rest have been rubbish. By the wa I still think Leeds will go up second, but only because the rest of the league is so awful.
militantcanary 0 Posted April 18, 2010 Thanks for your words, if the situation was reversed I am not sure I could muster them!I think Leeds will probably be ok, but it will go right down to the wire. The fact that Millwall are playing Swindon last game could be v significant. Charlton have improved massively over the two times I saw them on Sky in Feb time and were pretty good yesterday, that will be a hard one.You have easily got the deepest squad in the division though I wouldn''t want that many of your players, Snodgrass and Bechio and perhaps one or two others. If we have banked £6M (on Delph) and spent v little I would be hopping mad, what has happened there?

canaryfan68 0 Posted April 18, 2010 Hey thanks for your congrats willynaylor. Its a shame that most judge your club by a few moronic fans that every club seem to have.I think you will be alright as long as your team puts in a shift against Charlton. Its amazing what pressure does at this part of the season. If you had one thing you could change from the season what would it be, not beating Man Utd or selling Beckford? bluemike 0 Posted April 18, 2010 Congratulations to you all, despite the intense rivalry and dislike of NCFC, I have to say you thoroughly deserve to be back where you belong, I ve missed the derby games, in what has been an absolute shite season for us. You''ve taken the league by storm and have clearly been the best side, im not so sure we would have romped away with had we been down there. Anyway well done, and here''s to hammering you twice next season !! Enjoy the summer.
