Shock - Horror - Praise for the Police

I apologise if this has been mentioned elsewhere but I thought the police yesterday were excellent. I can''t remember a time that i have been driven to post in praise of our boys and girls in blue.

Credit when it''s due. They were well organised, not officious and policed with a great sense of humour. Well done to the British Transport and Met.

Yeah the Police were excellent. Especially considering they were London bobbies which would normally mean they have a much tougher job and may be by nature more rude, and less tolerant.Outside the pub they were very polite in asking us to drink in the beer garden.I did feel a little sorry for the disabled fans who were behind me as I doubt they could see much with us all standing up. Poor design if you ask me!

I thought the police were excellent, particularly when they nicked the gobby little chav who was trying to start something at the station afterwards. The stewards also showed a lot of common sense and were very unobtrusive, all of which made for a great day!

Did anyone see the 2 heroes in the train carriage waiting to depart who were oh so brave to shout out of the 1 inch gap in the window?
