Yes, sixth. My apologies. The point was exactly why would 442 believe that Gillingham had any sort of basis for a push on the top ten, let alone top six?

Were these based on form from the season before? That may explain some of the predictions.Otherwise, both of those tables seem pretty wide off the mark in a lot of respects. Then again, it''s impossible to predict a league table considering the sheer amount of games that get played and al the factors that go into them, i.e injuries, suspensions, dodgy referee decisions etc.

I worked on 442 a bit this season and currently work in their office for a different mag... needless to say i will be bringing this up with some of their staff!That and the way they work out their league player top 100.
