A few interesting stats of the season to date...

Recommended Posts

  • Scored in every single away game, overall record of scoring in over 95% of games played
  • record against the current bottom 12, won 17/22
  • millwall have picked up 40 points against the current top 12, Leeds 26 points
  • Our total crowd attendance this year is bigger then carlisle, tranmere, stockport, walsall and oldham combined (1/2 million ppl)
  • Gillingham have only picked up 6 points away all season, failing to win yet still don''t occupy a relegation spot
  • When losing at half-time, only Norwich average over a point per game after full time, ''gaining'' 17 points, the next nearest being Huddersfield on 11 points, the rest fail to make double figures...
Perhaps the last is the most telling,a) shows the effect Paul Lambert has on the team at Half-timeb) the desire shown by the players to get a result after not playing well in the first 45minsc) the fitness of the players, and the goals scored in the last 15mins

We''ve scored in 26 away league games in a row stretching back to Blackpool last season! Must surely be some sort of record.

If it''s 95% of games played then scoring in the last few is not going to make it up to 100% as we can''t score in all games if we already haven''t.

Sorry that''s replying to the banana bloke not the main point. On the main point made - what is our record against the top 12 sides? You give bottom 12 and then say about Millwall''s record against top 12 - how have we got on?

Against top 12 we have played 21 games, won 10 and got 35pts, which is second best in league behind Millwall. For comparison Leeds picked up 26pts, Swindon 27pts and Charlton 30.

Every stat you will ever need

However i''d imagine Banana is referring to our away record, where we currently do have a 100% record, and that if we score against Bristol Rovers we will have a 100% record over the course of the season.
