trouble in gillingham end

Recommended Posts

anyone else notice there seemed to be a bit of infighting between the gillingham fans after we scored the first goal? Dont know what it was about but did anyone else notice how the police just stood there watching while it was the stewards who were actually throwing people out. Surely the police as the law should be the people chucking fans out instead of getting stewards to do it. I sit in block e and all the police do during most games is stand in that corner where the hotel is catch a few people doing things such as put a finger up etc. and chuck them out to actually make them look like they are doing something

I thought it was actually a Norwich fan who had celebrated and the Gills fans got pissed off and the bloke got moved into the front row of the next Jarrold block.

"it was the stewards who were actually throwing people out"

as they do in pubs, clubs, supermarkets

there is a difference between behaving ''unsociably'' and unlawfully

Looked like 3 city supporters in the away section who got moved to the next block so no need to throw anyone out!

I didn''t think anyone was chucked out. They just moved the three Norwich fans who probably hadn''t been able to get tickets in the home end and got found out when we scored. It was funny when the old bill pushed those two Gobby Gills down the steps after the game though[:D]

Utter rubbish. Stewards enforce the ground regulation, police support them to prevent a breach of the peace and enforce the criminal law. Two city fans were in the away block and got moved. What is more amazing is that there were empty seats for them to be moved to.

Blimey, the sanctimonius goody two-shoes tossers posting on the pitch-invasion thread are missing an opportunity on this thread are''nt they?Surely City fans sitting in the away section at CR are breaking GROUND REGULATIONS!There must be immediate calls for the 2 or 3 (psychotic, deranged hooligans thats what they are!) that were in the Gills section,to be immediately identified, and first thing tomorrow morning to have their front doors knocked off their hinges by the police and then have pepper spray sprayed in their eyes! They should, at the Carlisle game, be flogged in the centre circle for the entertainment of the thousands of ''without sin'' City supporters. That''ll learn em!
