Strike Partnerships

Having seen Martin & Holt form a formidable strike partnership I was wondering who the best duo up front has been for City.

From my misty recollection I''d have to say Boyer & MacDougall. The two were like glue - telepathic stuf. Funny, you don''t hear much about Boyer on here, despite he was the first full NCFC England cap.

I started watching City in late 70''s, and the best pairing I can remember was probably Kevin Drinkell and the hugely under rated Wayne Biggins round about 83/84 time.

the best i have seen is sutton, robins and bellamy,roberts.... i never saw the partnerships above.. sutton roberts has to be the best as they where in the prem if bellamy was older maybe they would have been better

I''m not sure that Sutton and Robins ever really played together? Robins only really had 1 good season 92/93 when Sutton was still a young and upcoming centre half - Sutton was prolific after this but by then Robins had stopped scoring/been injured/left.
