NELSON

Recommended Posts

Pretty sure Jens is a lefty as well. He played on the left side of the centre backs for the rezzies last time i saw him and was happy to use his left foot. He looked pretty natural.. then again, Scandinavians and the Dutch are often pretty decent with both feet.

Eitherway, if he is confident on his left it will give us more balance if he''s in the side with either Doc or the Lord.

Agreed he is the most comfortable of the three on the left side. Nelly''s done OK there too. The Doc is a much better player on the right side though and I don''t believe copes so well on the left where he played when he partnered Spillane against Sunderland.

I only realised Askou was right footed by watching him from behind the goal. But if you think about it Lambert used to move him to right back when he made late substitutions to hold a lead.
