remember when barnsley got promoted to the prem in 1997 ?their talisman   neil redfearn was awesome for them that season despite spending his  career up to that point bumming around the lower leagues..grant holt reminds me of redfearn in a way..if  by some miracle we got to the prem in the near future  i reckon he could have a similar effect [:D]

Wasn''t Neal Redfearn involved in three successive clubs relegations with Barnsley, Charlton and someone else, perhaps Bradford?

yes he was lol... but i was suggesting that holt could have a similar impact as redfearn did  during barnsleys prem season.. you have to admit he was awesome... i think if we made the prem in the next few years  holt  could still be involved and play a major part [:D]

I am quite confident that Holt can cut it in the championship. His time at Forest goes against him, but he did spend a lot of that time on the wing.
