Duffman 0 Posted April 12, 2010 No Wes, no Drury (if rumours are true), No HoltFraser backSo what team do we go with tomorrow and what formation?I would go withFraserMartinDocNelsonRoseRussellSmithLappinMcnameeMartinOliPlay Oli just behind Martin in a 4-4-1-1 with Lappin left and Macnamee right. Without Hoolahan we dont have the players for the 4-3-3. What do you think PL will do ?
Canary Man of Kent 0 Posted April 12, 2010 Drury rumours are made up right? Lambo didn''t mention him being a doubt in the press conference.I also think Hoolahan will start this one.

Duffman 0 Posted April 12, 2010 The only reason I think the Drury one could be true is he did take a wack during the game, but then who didnt in a yellow shirt?Rose was out warming up for sometime but Drury signalled all ok. Perhaps he did some damage by staying out there, just like a certain England striker. If Drury is fit then he is in but there are too many people saying Wes is out for the season for there not to be some truth in it.PL isn''t going to come out and say it as that would give a big boost to all other teams around us if our main play maker and 3rd top scorer was out for the season. Canary Man of Kent 0 Posted April 12, 2010 Re Wes, the most reliable source so far has been the chap on Vital right? Wasn''t he the one that said Wes was joining us about 3 weeks before it actually happened?Anyway, he said Wes would be out for 2-3 weeks, which ties in with him having a late fitness test tomorrow. I haven''t seen anything from a credible source saying Wes will be out for the season. Also, I don''t think Lambo would say he''s going to have a late test if he''s going to be out for the season, I could see why he might do it if there''s some doubt about his availability for the next week, but not if there''s no chance of him being back.I think the Drury one is made up on the basis of him taking a whack, he''ll be ok. Plus if not, Rose is good enough to step in, we''ve picked up some great results with Rose in the side afterall.
a1canary 0 Posted April 12, 2010 Duffman, can you please get rid of your signature! Now is not a good time to be reminded of May 2005, not to mention May 2009 when we''re just about to go back to that scene.

Salopian 1 Posted April 12, 2010 Assuming that If Drury is ruled out and Rose plays, the main decision is who "partners" Chris Martin.I would favour Johnson, who may be the nearest we have to a Hooly replacement. I am concerned that we tried an experiemental Hoofball approach to use Elliott''s pace and it did not work.I riase the question of Hughes again. Macamee didn''t have a particularly good game on Saturday. Perhaps his style suffers most in scything and kicking by teams like MKD.Fortster has to return, I think. The remaining questions are about tiredness (Smith) and injuries from Saturday''s game. There is a rumour about Drury, and Doc apparently turned his ankle over. Are there any other injuries we have yet to learn about?
The Great Drinkell 51 Posted April 12, 2010 Haven''t heard the rumours about Drury and Doc assuming they are okay i''d go Forster Whitbread Doc NelsonMartin Smith Russell Hughes Drury Martin Elliott I don''t think they would be expecting that and it looks solid but capable to me. providing we keep the ball on the floor[D]
UEA Canary 0 Posted April 12, 2010 forstermartin doc nelson drury russell smith lappin Johnson Elliot MartinGo back to the diamond and play johnson in the hooly role, similar player i think but with bags more strength. i feel he could blossom in that role

Gary came in and was excellent.”There seem to be major concerns over Doc Drury and Smith. Hope all this prooves unfounded but if correct assume our back four will be Martin Spillane Nelson and Rose. ron obvious 1,711 Posted April 12, 2010 Think you''ve got to have Cody on the bench, now he''s fit. If it''s 0-0 with 15 minutes to go he''s the man to make things happen.
Largey 0 Posted April 12, 2010 I think he will go straight swap, Holt for Elliott and Forster for Rudd. Simples.
