Shaun Tilly Lace 0 Posted April 14, 2010 I thought Mr. Adams was bang out of order on Canary Call last night. Surely this little Radio Naarfulk special is an opportunity for everybody to have their say and therefore represent a wide range of views on Norwich City. Some old boy calls in and speaks to old moaning, whingeing voice to express the opinion that performances have declined in recent weeks, and Adams gets quite snotty and accuses him of talking absolute rubbish; finally fading him out. What a tw.at. What''s the point of Canary Call if everybody is expected to just agree with the omniscient Neil?As it happens, I would agree with the old boy; performances have declined (just a little bit) in recent weeks. AndyCanary 0 Posted April 14, 2010 I didn''t hear the caller in question so can''t comment on that...But have performances really dropped that much? By the sounds of it last nights performance is a definate yes to that question. Although you have to wonder what if we scored twice instead of hitting the post and if Holt and Wes had played?MK Dons we had a goal disallowed which looked fine to me, and MK Dons and the ref were all out of order.Stockport we won. But weren''t clinical. Stockport dug in deep but didn''t have quality.Tranmere was a Farce due to the referee.. I thought we played outstandingly well all things considered.Leeds was a 50/50 game which we came out on top of. But we weren''t poor except for the hoofball we played in the first half.So have performances dipped? or have things gone against us?
Barry Brockes 157 Posted April 14, 2010 I thought Adams was a bit tetchy all round last night. At the end of the day he''s a fan and presumably was as frustrated as any other fan with the performance last night. He''s been banging on for weeks about how promotion will be sealed at the Valley if not before and now that looks unlikely he''s letting it get the better of him on air and taking it out on a few callers. Woebetide Tony if we''re tonked on Saturday and he then calls up and drones on about nothing.

Craig Fleming or Iwan would be good candidates. they dont work for the club now and are just outsiders looking in... comeon snorefolk lets end the Adams love in and get someone with a pair of Kahoonas on the phone in who wont just sit on the fence or fade out someone who gets the better of his "I love eveyrthing" atttitude. AndyCanary 0 Posted April 14, 2010 I was only thinking last night that Craig Fleming would make a good broadcaster!

Yes we may of dropped of a little but things have not gone our way. Last night for instance, Orient were the better team without a doubt but you include Holt and Hoolahan in our team, cut out of the woeful mistakes that led to both of Orients goals and a better, watered pitch which would of prevented the ball from bouncing like it would on concrete, then we could of won that comfortably! [/quote]Er, my OP wasn''t about Adams hate at all. I just thought that the man was totally unprofessional as a broadcaster, and very rude, to not allow this gentleman to put over his point of view. It''s not Adams'' position as the presenter of Canary Call to tell anybody that they are wrong - whether he thinks they are or not. The feature becomes boring and a complete waste of time if old Neil expects everybody to ring in and just agree with his opinions. If Naarrfulk haven''t slapped his wrist over this major misdemeanour, then they bloody well should! As others have said, bring in somebody totally independent of NCFC in Neil''s place if he can''t bring himself to ever be critical, or allow callers to be critical. The present situation is farcical.

Jack Barak 46 Posted April 17, 2010 A few callers are good....most are mental!I''m surprised Adams didn''t snap before now, there is only so much drivel he can listen to.
