Buy Back Scheme for the Leeds match on Saturday

Recommended Posts

Sadly I was unable to get a ticket for the Leeds game on Saturday.

I know the club has been appealing to season ticket holders who can''t go to the match to put their seat up for buy-back sale, but if any tickets do go on sale through this method when will the club announce if any buy-back tickets are available? and when will they sell the buy-back tickets? Im guessing both will be sometime on Saturday, but don''t know what times.

Best idea would be to ring the club and ask them, they''ll know more than us lot on here.

Good Luck

Call the club. I think they go on sale when the office opens - might be 10 or 11am. For best chance get there 2 hours before then recouperate in the pub with your ticket.

It''s a nightmare, that''s why I advertised my ticket on here. Post was removed but luckily I got a PM from another City fan and he''s got my ticket!!

Howver I have had tickets on the buy back before so don''t give up!

its deemed illegal to want to sell on a ticket face value to a friend or fellow fan if they can no longer make the game. stupid rule which is why the ticket page got removed. wont stop it happening though

Of course it won''t, they will remove the thread but it may take a while, and it only takes a second to help out another City fan!!

I took someone''s advise and phoned the ticket office, but sadly what they told me wasn''t good news.

They said that you have to phone the TO at 9am on Saturday to see if there will be any Buy-Back tickets on sale and if there are any tickets available they will go on sale at 1pm on Saturday.

The reason that isn''t good news is that I live near to London. If I phone the ticket office at 9am and then leave home, I will be pushing it to get to the ground for 1pm and there will probably be a big queue in front of me. If I leave home before 9am to get to the ground early and then phone the TO at 9am I may find that there are no Buy-Back tickets for sale and that my journey is a waste of time. So either way im stuffed.

Oh well, any one got a spare ticket???????

I agree with DDB. There''s bound to be at least one ticket available, so I''d just go up as early as you can. You can always stop halfway and call the ticket office.

Worth risking getting half way and having to turn back I''d say.

Got to agree there will be at least 1 but problem is what time to get there - could be people there at 6am who knows. The club often put the odd ticket in that they have not used ie FITC coach cant make it. I would also suggest anyone who is going to give a season ticket away tries and gives it to one of those in the quee

It is a stupid rule that you can''t sell a ticket in a home area, at FACE value to another city fan who would sit in the same home area.

You have got to give it to our MP.''s..........meddle, meddle,  meddle while helping themselves to our funds via the "expenses" system.

Think all season ticket holders had an email today asking them to ring the club if we can''t make the game on Sat so there will hopefully be some for sale Sat for the people who still need one.

Does anyone else think that the buy-back scheme is too heavily favoured towards the club.

£10 for an adult season ticket holder which is then sold on at full price by the club.

£3 for a childs season ticket which could be sold on at full adult price.

The money is then held by the club potentially for 12 months before it becomes available to use against your next season ticket.

I know that it is great to get bums on seats and create atmosphere but it has to be fair to all parties.

Wish I could use such a mark up in my own business.
