If Norwich need any more incentive to beat Leeds then a quick glance at the fixtures suggests wins for Millwall and Colchester and defeats for Charlton and Swindon.

This would leave:

2nd and 3rd 11 points and four wins more than City in eight games behind.

4th; 5th and 6th 15 points and at least five good wins more than City in eight games.

Mathematical certainties are one thing, but for me it really means there are three teams fighting for two places and barring the mother of all collapses two teams for the one place.

Lambert has the personnel to change things. He has a plan A, B, C and D so if any players let their performance drop then unlike Gunn at the end of last season Lambert has bags of options for change.

Norwich players will want to prove themselves against Leeds who will come out all fired up but with initial application we can dominate them. If we score early we can annihilate them.

This is a team affirming, promotion consolidating one off cup type game. Forget Leeds situation and Millwall''s run, this is all about us getting a creditable result and ramming words down the throats of pundits just like we did at Colchester.

For me, Saturday means a win to make promotion a reality because it will leave us needing only two more wins (one if Swindon hadn''t equalised) to acheive the points total we actually need.

I''m really enjoying this season and Saturday could be yet another joyous day at Carrow Road.

I was hoping a Norwich v Leeds final....That would be a great game...may still happen with luck!!
