Nobodys Perfect 0 Posted March 28, 2010 Anyone else remember that, 2nd or 3rd game into this campaign, when we were at our lowest ebb and still had Gunn in charge, Paul Merson stated on a Sky Soccer Special that "in his opinion, the team that finished one place below Norwich this season would be promoted". (Or words to that effect!) He was mocked of course but I''d love to hear him remind the rest of the panel of his comments when we are finally promoted as Champions. GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary 1,749 Posted March 28, 2010 Merson was still foolish to say that because at the time, as you say Gunn was still in charge!!!, whilst we have have still had the players, we certainly didn''t have the management for him to predict that, now had he have said it the day Lambert took charge, that would have been some prediction!!
