BroadstairsR 0 Posted March 30, 2010 All this "Little old Norwich" stuff revelling in a one off victory in the second European competition. The was not the then the equivalent of the Champion''s League, it was the UEFA Cup for goodness sake.Bayern had had success in the better competition (was it called the European Cup?). For them to be in the second rate competition at that time means only that they were not so good at that particular time. How did we get on in the next round?OK. We were excellent and I will remember Goss''s goal for a long long time. Clinging onto this victory in such a way only indicates the parsity of past successes.Who cares that our so called "record" is intact or not. Certainly not me.Now I await the flack. paul moy 235 Posted March 30, 2010
What happened with his foot, I missed it?Beeb suggests that Gomez stamped on his foot?
I wonder how much he has been paid to do that. Is he Spanish perhaps ?
Ivana_rubyatitz 6 Posted March 30, 2010 Did not think there was any intent to the contact between Rooney and Gomez

"""""""""Ben """"""""""" 0 Posted March 30, 2010

I take it that you would prefer Spaniards or Italians or even Germans to dance the night away with the trophy.
Yeah, it would be a real shame if they stopped all the Englishmen from winning it...Man Utds team vs Bolton on Sunday : * 01 Van der Sar - Holland * 02 Neville - English * 03 Evra - French * 15 Vidic - Serbian * 23 Evans - N.
