Is it possible to get back to the station in time for this after the game? Trying to plan getting back to Leeds after the game, could be a bit chaotic! che dream 0 Posted March 31, 2010 You can use the local train station, which is Liverpool Central about 1/4 mile from Lime Street. We are going from Rock Ferry to Central, last trains about midnight so no need to rush. However best bet for you is to go to merseyrail.org & use their journey planner. Either from Birkenhead or Rock Ferry, the latter is a bit nearer. If you use central station, come out of station, turn right, then left and Lime street about 200 yards on your right. can''t miss it, hope this helps, by the way trains on this line about every 15 mins, so no problem if you miss one, hope this helps Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
