Ayrton Twigge 0 Posted December 7, 2004 Generally speaking released players tend to drift into obscurity. Was pleased to read the following comments from Barnet to hear that two lads have "done good":-Celebrity chef and Norwich City football club director Delia Smith is to write letters of congratulations to two Barnet players.Dean Sinclair and Damien Batt, who were both signed from the Canaries, have been so impressive this season they have inspired Smith to swap her pans for a pen."I met Delia on Saturday and told her that her team made a massive mistake in letting Dean Sinclair go," said Barnet''s head of public relations, Dennis Signy. "I said that he has now scored six goals for us he scored a seventh on Saturday and had just been chosen for the England non-league team. I also said that they''d made an error letting the boy Batt go, as he done very well so far."
