Agreed about Helveg. Went missing far too often. Particularly at Fulham. He, Damian Francis and David Bentley should still hang their heads in shame at their performances that day.
Bentley was such a disappointment that year, gave the ball away all of the time, delivery not that great, not exactly a grafter....bit of a pillock to be honest.

How can the OP put Efan Ekoku in in front of Iwan Roberts is beyond me.  And no place for Ted MacDougall either?

1st post the geezer put Thomas Helveg!?!?!?!?!? WoW Statement!!!!

LOL
Beyond the hugely under-rated Culverhouse I am struggling to think of a better RB than Helveg.  Haylock, Eddie, Colin, Hughes, Ots, Sutch?     We performed best in the prem once he replaced Eddie.  But I know that his time here will always wrongly be ridiculed.

No doubting he was a decent player at Milan, he also performed towards the end of the season in the Prem for us, but defo not in the best City team ever!!!! Culverhouse every day for me........
