Thats a shock. Nice guy by all accounts and very respected in the game.

Sort of story that won''t even get 10% of the Terry/Bridge hysteria, but there you go.

RIP Keith.

Keith was a lovely guy who I knew from his spell at Lynn.

I wonder if it was another aneurysm. Does anyone know?

I know in about Feb March 2009 he was given the all clear, so this comes as a shock.

RIP Keith.

Condolences to his family, friends and all those connected with him.

This is truly awful news, I read about him being unwell a few weeks ago and I knew he had problems in the past. But still comes as a shock.

Puts football and sport in general in perspective.

R.I.P. Keith Alexander

R.I.P

One of the nicest people in football, and a true lower league football legend. My thoughts go with his family and close friends.

[/quote]Completely agree.Sad news, Rest in peace Keith.

Glad to see the England team are going to be wearing black armbands.

RIP Keith. Always sad to see decent people from football or not die early.

Very sad news. Sounded like a descent manager and for him to die at such a great shame is a big shame and I hope that every ground has a minutes silence for him this weekend. As previous people have mentioned I think the media need to get their priorities right as they could not stop going on about the brige-terry saga yet when a football league manager passes away it doesnt seem to get anywhere near as much coverage!
